A letter from Jos (Josiah Barnes ) to Doll (Lily Agnes Barnes) dated 16 nov 1954 expressing his relief that all had gone well with the arrangements for the interment of “poor george’. He then goes on to give an account of what he has been doing as well as plans to do bowls ,walking the dog “Bottles” his meals. Toward the end he sends his affectionate regards to Edie and his “love and kisses to your dear self”
