Went to Brownville ,Texas after Ordination. Served in other Parishes in Texas and Nevada,
Reno was his last Parish before have to retire due to Parkinsons desease.
Spent the initial 5 years of retirement in a Nursing home in South San Francisco before returning to Ireland in March 2011 as he deteriorated. Spent the next 4 years in St. Annes Nursing Home just up the road from the Pallottine College. Transferred to Woodlands Nursing Home in Dundrum, about 10 miles from Thurles, in 2016. He in buried in the Pallottine Cemetary in Thurles.
