FAMILY TREE
INTRODUCTION
This is a draft genealogy, as at January 2018, developed based on the O’BRIEN - GLEESON FAMILIES and in addition bringing in many other families that have links to these families .
The detail of over 2,000 people and many families have been assembled from a number of sources. The primary source was the Records of the Parish of KILLOSCULLY / BALLINACHINCH which is located near Newport in County Tipperary, Ireland.
Over the last decade I have been fortunate to have had a great deal of additional information from many family relations from other parts of Ireland, Australia, North America and England.
The site has evolved based on much feedback and input from many sources.
The exercise is ongoing and will always be incomplete.
There will obviously be errors and omissions in the content and I apologise for any inaccuracies.
Clarification, additional information that enhances the document, pictures and corrections are invited as are new additions that link with the Family Tree.
Please email or post information to the address below.
A good way to explore the family tree is to click on the Surname in Main Menue, then locate the person of interest and Click again. The record of the Person appears. The record shows the key data relating to that person. Next to the Name is the Logo of a Tree, Click on the Tree Logo and up to Five Generations is displayed. It is then possible to move around the Tree displayed. Click on the Camera Logo displayed next to the Tree logo and the photo of the person is displayed .Click on the Photo when its present to enlarge. Additional photos where available can be displayed by Clicking on “ Related Media Pages” displayed at bottom on main Photo.
Click on the Persons Name brings up a Brief Life Story of the person where present.
The site will I'm sure be improved with the generous assistance of all the families that are featured.
